New Menu ! We have new menus that include items that were available only as specials and also completely new rolls and plates! Following are some examples.

NEW APPETIZERS

Jason Roll . This roll has become a favorite of our customers and has been added to the appetizer section of the new menu. It has spicy scallop, shrimp, and mango inside, rolled in a cover of hawaiian big eye tuna, and topped with crunchy tempura bits and seaweed. This roll is served in a special miso sauce. This roll goes great with a glass of champagne, for a special occasion.

Tuna Green. Also in the appetizer section , this "volcano" of avocado, spicy tuna, crunchy tempura bits, and a special miso sauce, has also become a favorite!

Tuna Pizza Yet another item that was a month-only special, and now has a formal place on our menu. This appetizer is made on a scallion pancake, and topped with spicy tuna, finely diced onion, seaweed, and sliced cherry tomatoes.

NEW ROLLS

Strawberry Tuna roll. This roll combines the taste of spicy tuna, the crunchiness of tempura bits, and the sweetness of strawberry on top. An interesting combination that you have to try to make a decision.

Garlic Tuna Roll. Well, the name says it. If you are a garlic lover, this is something to try, but just make sure your partner has a couple of bites too... You can also have Garlic Salmon Roll. Both these rolls are made with spicy salmon (or tuna), cucumber, and are tempura covered.

Jedi Roll Just in time for the rollout of the new Star Wars movie, this roll is made with crab, eel and cucumber.

We also have added to the dessert menu the BANANALICIOUS ROLL.

This is our first dessert roll. Created by one of our customers, this roll is made with fresh strawberries and slices of banana wrapped in a thin layer of sushi rice. It is dipped in light tempura batter and deep fried for an instant. it is served with whipped cream and topped with a sweet chocolate sauce.

August Happy Hour Special: At Kyoto we are aware of the pressure on prices of food, fish, and rice as a result of the increasing gas prices and natural events. We are doing our best to continue to offer the best quality in Japanese food at affordable prices. In fact, Kyoto continues to be the best value for sushi in town!. Happy Hour prices will be in effect all day during August.

This month, regular rolls will be priced at $3.95, and our gourmet rolls at $4.95. To help you try our line of House Special Sushi Rolls, these will be discounted $2.00 each during Happy Hour! There has been no better time to try the House Special Sushi Rolls!

Hot sake is $2.95 during Happy Hour! Kendall Jackson, Chateau St. Jean, and Clos du Bois wines, will sell by the glass at $5.95, or at $24.95 per bottle. and Chateau St Jean and Clos du Bois (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon) at $6.95 per glass and $26.95 per bottle. These prices will be in effect from noon to 9PM everyday (1PM-9PM on Sunday) Ohio beverages law prevent us from offering Happy Hour prices on alcoholic beverages after 9PM.
