As Spring gets in the air, we proudly present our first dessert roll! It's bananalicious! Also, when you visit our restaurant, take a minute to look at the new display plaques with the 2005, 2006, and 2007 awards, as well as interesting articles that have featured Kyoto.

Bananalicious roll! This is our first dessert roll. Created by one of our customers, this roll is made with fresh strawberries and slices of banana wrapped in a thin layer of sushi rice. It is dipped in light tempura batter and deep fried for an instant. To enhance the sweetness of this roll, it is served with whipped cream and topped with a sweet chocolate sauce. Our sushi chef will decorate this plate with a rainbow of sweet sauces. A real treat! Try the BANANALICIOUS roll and let us know what you think! |

Tuna Pizza - Last month we asked for your opinion on Tuna Pizza. All answers were incredibly positive! Tuna Pizza will be incorporated to the next edition of our standard menu. If you have not yet tried it, this appetizer is made on a scallion pancake, and topped with spicy tuna, finely diced onion, seaweed, and sliced cherry tomatoes. It is great for beginners or sushi novices! |

Catering - Do not forget that Kyoto offers catering services for all your private or company functions. We will take to your event a special Hoshizaki brand refrigerated sushi bar display (see the accompanying photo) which is used when catering to customers that require a sushi chef. Consider Kyoto's catering services when planning your upcoming graduation party! Your senior will appreciate your thoughtfulness and you will have so very many less plates to prepare and to clean! Come talk to Jason for your catering needs, we will provide service that includes your sushi chef, appetizer, lots of sushi and rolls, habachi chicken entree, and dessert. April Happy Hour Special: This month, regular rolls will be priced at $3.75, and our gourmet rolls at $4.75. These prices will be in effect all day. We have $2.25 domestic beer, and $2.95 hot sake during Happy Hour! Kendall Jackson, Chateau St. Jean, and Clos du Bois wines, will sell by the glass at $5.95, or at $24.95 per bottle. and Chateau St Jean and Clos du Bois (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon) at $6.95 per glass and $26.95 per bottle. These prices will be in effect from noon to 9PM everyday (1PM-9PM on Sunday) Ohio beverages law prevent us from offering Happy Hour prices on alcoholic beverages after 9PM. |
