HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

Dear Friend,

This is the KyotoSushiBar.com July Interactive Newsletter. This month we have great reasons to celebrate, and we plan to celebrate with you!

Kyoto is featured in the Cincinnati Magazine! The July edition of the Cincinnati Magazine has featured our restaurant in the Japanese section of its "Spice World" main article, written by Donna Covrett and photographs by Ryan Kurtz.

Not only have we been featured in this article, but the Kyoto Sashimi Martini is on the cover!! Click on the picture at the side to see a larger image of the magazine.

The main article has a picture of our Jason Roll that was introduced to our patrons in the June 2007 Newsletter. This is today one of our most popular rolls and we present it again further down this page.

The article really focuses on the friendliness of our staff, and most importantly, in the atmosphere that you, our patrons and friends create at our place. It says "Kyoto feels like the Japanese version of Cheers".

Our Sho Chiku Bai Ginjo sake is also described in a side article, as a "complex, smooth, and dry sake with intense floral notes and licorice overtones"

Since our Sashimi Martini is in the cover of the Magazine, we have decided to dedicate this month to the Martini theme, and feature the Fusion Sashimi Martini, and discount our classic and special martinis! Read on for more information.

We would like to thank the Cincinnati Magazine for their article, and all of you for your support and friendship!

Jason Roll Initially named the "Yummi Roll", our customers have started to call this the "Jason Roll". This is a very special item. It has spicy scallop, shrimp, and mango inside, rolled in a cover of hawaiian big eye tuna, and topped with crunchy tempura bits and seaweed. This roll is served in a special miso sauce.

The spicy scallop has a soft, buttery taste and mixes well with the mango. This roll goes great with a glass of champagne, for a special ocassion. The Jason roll sells for $19.95

Happy Hour During July, regular rolls will be priced at $3.50, and our gourmet rolls at $4.50. We have $1.95 domestic beer, and $2.95 hot sake during Happy Hour! Happy hour prices are available ALL DAY during July!. Ohio beverages law requires us to inform you that Happy Hour prices on alcoholic beverages cannot be extended beyond 9 PM.

This month we continue featuring Kendall Jackson, Chateau St. Jean, and Clos du Bois wines, which will sell by the glass at $5.25, or at $22.95 per bottle. Since drinking red wine with sushi is also an alternative, this month we will feature Chateau St Jean and Clos du Bois (Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon) at $5.95 per glass and $25.95 per bottle.

Martini Month! This month we are featuring our Fusion Sashimi Martini, similar to the one shown on the cover of the July edition of the Cincinnati Magazine, shown at the top of this newsletter. A Martini glass filled with garnish, covered with at least four different types of regular sashimi, and a fusion roll. $24.50

To continue the celebration, this month all our Martinis are $2.00 off! Try a classic Gin or Vodka Martini, a classic Appletini, or the unique features of our restaurant, the Lycheeni and the Green Tea Martini!
